Initially I provided a list of sites that gave useful information about e-training and e-learning without an accompanying "hard sell". Search engines have made this redundant. The following is a short, eclectic, list of sites that I personally find useful for any number of reasons.
Golden Swamp Virtual Learning Ideas Blog
a site "dedicated to explaining and showcasing one particular golden emergence: that of an open content network of what is known by humankind available in common to each person on earth" (Judy Breck).
EduTools - Course Management Systems
is a resource that is designed to assist users in making a decision about the selection of a course management system through a process of comparative analysis
Stephen's Web
impossible to describe in a sentence, but has a wealth of useful information and interesting opinions (and it's Canadian!).
eLearningeuropa.info
the European Commission's e-learning site (with resources in an amazing choice of languages).
MIT OpenCourseWare
one of the most revolutionary ideas of the last decade. Don't hold your breath for the Canadian version!
